Supported Living Services

Supported living services are for those who may not want to live in a restrictive environment such as residential care but are finding it difficult to cope at home. It is a combination of suitable or adapted accommodation with some forms of personal care (like help with washing or cooking).

The home offers accommodation and support for clients with learning disabilities and mental health needs. The aim is to empower individuals to make choices on how they wish to live their life by providing them with individual packages of support. The support can be from as little as 1 hour a day to 24 hours care with waking support staff at night if required.

All residents have a tenancy agreement and are supported with all housing related matters, for example paying bills and claiming benefit entitlements.

All residents are supported with skills to enable them to have independence;

  • Daily living skills, including cooking, cleaning and shopping
  • Socializing and community involvement
  • Accessing education, training and employment
  • People who have higher level or complex needs who are unable to maintain their own tenancy, we provide support for them to maintain proper documents
  • Maintain nutrition and hydration needs.
  • Maintain appropriate behavior skills and good communication
  • Support in medication administration
  • Managing finances, including budgeting and benefits (Job seekers, disability allowances etc) The Home offers;
  • Safe and quiet neighborhoods.
  • A number of spacious bedrooms, shared living space, dining room, bathrooms and gardens with plenty of space
  • Offer culturally specific accommodation if needed
  • Provide a range of indoor and outdoor activities like arts and crafts, painting, gardening picnic, barbeque, independent life skills and much more
  • Also provide freshly cooked meals.
